Prof. Dr. Gülgün Dilek Arman is an infectious-diseases and clinical-microbiology specialist at Liv Hospital Vadistanbul, Istanbul, with concurrent academic appointment at Bahçeşehir University Medical School. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1985 and completed her specialization there in 1992. She served on the faculty of Gazi University in Ankara from 1996 to 2013 before moving to Medicalpark Bahçelievler in Istanbul (2013-2021) and joining Liv. She is the founding president of the Turkish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Specialists. Her clinical and research focus covers ICU infections, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, bone-joint infections, Lyme disease and hospital-acquired infections.
