Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 May 2026.
This policy explains which cookies we use, why and how to disable them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the site to “recognise” you on subsequent visits, remember your settings and collect anonymised statistics.
2. Which cookies we use
| Category | What it does | Examples | Lifespan | Country of processing | Consent | |—|—|—|—|—|—| | Necessary | Site operation, user session, form spam and CSRF protection | PHPSESSID, wp_*, cookie_consent | Session / 1 year | EU (Hostinger) | Not required | | Functional | Remember language and region preferences | lang, region | 1 year | EU (Hostinger) | Not required | | Analytics | Count visits, traffic sources, behaviour on the site — anonymised | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _gid) | Up to 14 months | USA (Google LLC) | Required | | Marketing | Display relevant ads and measure their effectiveness | Meta Pixel (_fbp, fr) | Up to 90 days | USA (Meta Platforms Inc.) | Required |
Transfer to the USA. By enabling Analytics or Marketing in the banner, you consent to the transfer of anonymised technical data to the USA. Details — in Privacy Policy, §6.
3. Retention
- Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser.
- Persistent cookies are stored from 30 days to 2 years — exact lifespan depends on the cookie. Specific durations are in the table above.
After the period expires, the cookie is deleted automatically. You can delete them manually earlier — see section 5.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services. They operate under their own rules — we recommend reviewing their policies.
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) Counts visits and on-site behaviour. Transfers anonymised data to Google. Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) Used to measure the effectiveness of advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to display relevant ads. Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php
WhatsApp Business (Meta Platforms Inc.) If you reach our chat through the WhatsApp button, Meta/WhatsApp policies apply.
We do not currently use other marketing trackers (Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, Yandex Metrika and similar). If we add anything, we will update this policy and notify you via the cookie banner.
5. How to disable cookies
There are two ways.
Through our cookie banner
When you first visit the site, you see a banner with three buttons: “Accept all”, “Necessary only”, “Settings”. In “Settings” you can enable or disable individual categories.
To change your choice later, click the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer.
Through browser settings
Any modern browser allows you to block cookies entirely or for individual sites:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Cookies and website data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Each browser also lets you delete already-stored cookies — in the same privacy settings.
6. What happens if you disable cookies
The site will continue to work. You can read materials, search for information, submit a request.
But:
- If you disable Necessary — forms may not submit and the site will not remember that you have already seen the cookie banner. That is why Necessary cookies cannot be disabled.
- If you disable Functional — the language and region selection will not be saved between visits.
- If you disable Analytics — we will not see what was useful and will improve the site less effectively. This does not affect your interaction with the site in any way.
- If you disable Marketing — ads on Facebook and Instagram will be less relevant. This does not affect your content or service quality.
7. Changes to the policy
If we add new cookies or services, we update this policy and show you the cookie banner again with the updated categories. You re-select what you consent to.
The date of the latest update is in the document header.
