Prof. Dr. Nuri Faruk Aykan is a senior medical oncologist at İSÜ Liv Hospital Bahçeşehir, with a career spanning Ankara University, Ondokuz Mayıs University and the Oncology Institute of Istanbul University. He completed research fellowships at Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg (molecular genetics, 1981) and Hôtel-Dieu de Paris (cell culture, 1991). His clinical focus covers colorectal, gastric, pancreatic and neuroendocrine cancers, with active membership in ASCO, ESMO and ESDO. He led the prize-winning KOLONTÜRK colorectal cancer study (2013).
