Assoc. Prof. Dr. Batur Gönenç Kanar is a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at Liv Hospital Vadistanbul, Istanbul. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 2009, specialized in cardiology at Marmara in 2014, and was promoted to associate professor in 2020. He completed advanced electrophysiology fellowships at the Paris-Sud Institut Cardiovasculaire (Hôpital Privé Jacques Cartier) and Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital in London. His clinical focus covers catheter ablation of arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation with 3D mapping, pacemaker/ICD/CRT implantation, coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention. He serves as the Türkiye Representative of the European Heart Rhythm Association.
