Mustafa Kemal Arslantaş graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and completed his residency in anaesthesiology and reanimation at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2008. He was a faculty member in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, later headed the anaesthesiology department at Demiroğlu Bilim University and the intensive care unit at Kadıköy Florence Nightingale Hospital, and joined Memorial Göztepe Hospital in 2025. He holds Turkish Anaesthesiology and Reanimation Board certification and an international transplant coordinator board certification, and completed an observership at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He was a Turkish investigator in the European APRICOT paediatric anaesthesia study and in the Turkish multicentre point-prevalence study of ICU sepsis.
