Tolga Sinan Güvenç graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and completed his cardiology residency at Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, qualifying as a cardiology specialist in 2011. He received the Turkish associate professor title in 2016 and was appointed professor of cardiology at İstinye University in 2021. He completed a clinical fellowship in the advanced heart failure unit at the University of Alberta, Canada, and was a visiting scientist at the echocardiography laboratory of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He worked at VM Medical Park Pendik Hospital from 2019 to 2025 and joined Memorial Göztepe Hospital in 2025. He is a Fellow of the Heart Failure Association of the ESC, sits on the board of the Turkish Cardiology Society's heart failure working group, and serves on the editorial board of Scientific Reports.
