MD Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine (1987); Orthopedics specialty at Taksim Training and Research Hospital (1989-1994). Past Chairman of the Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and past board member of AO Trauma Turkey, he serves on the editorial board of Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica (AOTT). His operative focus is joint replacement, bone tumour surgery and complex trauma reconstruction.
