Nurgül Bozkurt is an associate professor of chest diseases at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine. Her teaching covers asthma, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and pneumonia at undergraduate level, and pleural disease and obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome at postgraduate level. Her recent published work concerns asthma phenotypes and control within the Turkish Adult Asthma Registry, the socioeconomic determinants of asthma control, the health economics of COPD care, and occupational biosafety in tuberculosis laboratory work. Her office is in the Chest Diseases unit, H Block, Akdeniz University Hospital.
