Uzm. Dr. Nuri Cömert is a Specialist in Interventional Cardiology at Memorial Antalya Hospital. He earned his medical degree from İstanbul University Faculty of Medicine and completed his cardiology specialty training at İstanbul Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic, Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, one of Turkey's leading centers for invasive cardiology. He began his career as a cardiology specialist with the Turkish military medical service (2008-2009), then served at Vezirköprü State Hospital and Samsun Training and Research Hospital (2009-2011). Since 2011 he has practiced as a cardiology specialist at Memorial Antalya Hospital, where he has been part of the cath-lab and coronary intervention team for more than a decade. His clinical interests include chest pain evaluation, coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome and myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular disease, aortic aneurysms and hypertension. He performs diagnostic coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention with stent placement, non-coronary vessel angioplasty, percutaneous mitral balloon valvuloplasty and pacemaker implantation.
