Prof. Dr. Güngör Karagüzel heads the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Akdeniz University Hospital. He completed his pediatric surgery specialisation at Hacettepe University (1988–1993) and joined Akdeniz University in 1994, rising through the academic ranks to become Professor in 2004. His clinical interests span pediatric urology, gonadal pathology, vesicoureteral reflux, pediatric solid tumours and minimally invasive surgery in children.
