Murat Ayhan is a medical oncologist. He graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 2007 and completed internal medicine training at Istanbul Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 2014, followed by medical oncology training at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital, completed in 2021. He received the associate professor title in 2023 and practises at Liv Hospital. He has also worked at Adıyaman University Training and Research Hospital and at Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital. His clinical work covers breast, lung, colorectal, gynaecological and genitourinary cancers, together with molecular oncology and targeted and immune therapies. His recent publications address frontline enfortumab vedotin with pembrolizumab in metastatic urothelial carcinoma and prognostic biomarker expression in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma. He is a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology.
