Prof. Dr. Ömer Göktekin is a professor of cardiology and interventional cardiologist at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital with over 27 years of experience. An Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa graduate (MD 1992), he completed cardiology training at Siyami Ersek Hospital and held international research and clinical fellowships at St George's and Royal Brompton hospitals in London and Saitama Medical School in Japan.
