Prof. Dr. Yelda Tayyareci is a cardiologist at Liv Hospital Ulus and faculty member at Istinye University, Istanbul. She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and completed her cardiology specialization there in 2006. After serving at Florence Nightingale Hospital and a research fellowship in cardiac imaging at King's College London (2012-2013), she joined Liv in 2013. She was promoted to full professor in 2017. Her clinical and research focus covers advanced echocardiography (3D and transesophageal), valvular heart disease, heart failure, sports cardiology and cardio-oncology. She is a member of the ESC, ASE, and Turkish Society of Cardiology.
