Ahmet Mutlu graduated from Kocaeli University School of Medicine in 2011 and completed his otorhinolaryngology residency at the same university in 2016. In parallel he took a master's degree in Audiology, Speech and Voice Disorders at Başkent University, completed in 2017. After compulsory service at Üsküdar State Hospital he joined the academic staff of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at İstanbul Medeniyet University in 2019 and received the Turkish associate professor title in 2022. He joined the ENT clinic at Memorial Göztepe Hospital in 2025. His research is concentrated in otology and audiology — auditory brainstem responses, sudden sensorineural hearing loss, tinnitus and peripheral facial palsy.
