Adnan Dağçınar is a neurosurgeon who joined Memorial Göztepe Hospital after a long academic career at Marmara University School of Medicine, where he held a professorship in the Department of Neurosurgery. He trained in medicine and in neurosurgery at Hacettepe University in Ankara, and worked at Marmara University (1998–2005 and 2012–2025) and at Ondokuz Mayıs University in Samsun (2005–2012). His published work is concentrated in paediatric neurosurgery, including foramen magnum decompression in achondroplasia, lumbosacral lipomas, medulloblastoma molecular classification and brain metastases in paediatric solid tumours.
