Ali Erşen is an orthopaedic surgeon at Memorial Göztepe Hospital specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery. He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine (1999–2005), completed his orthopaedics and traumatology residency at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (2005–2011) with a thesis on platelet-rich plasma and rotator cuff healing, and worked at that faculty from 2012 to 2025 before joining Memorial. He served on the board of the Turkish Orthopaedics and Traumatology Association (TOTBİD) for the 2023–2025 term and is a member of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow (SECEC).
